When people ask if we’re a family business, I proudly answer yes.
I learned film production—the creative aspects and the business disciplines—at my father’s feet. When I was young, I had no idea who Robert Altman was, but I was proud to discover my father Charles Paddock shot some of the legendary director’s early films.
Since my father started our company over 50 years ago, we have enjoyed steady growth in every venue of the production business: corporate pieces and music videos, national television commercials, feature films and from its earliest stages—Direct Response.
One of the most rewarding parts of our business has been the successes we’ve created for our Direct Response clients. It’s very satisfying to help our clients fulfill their entrepreneurial goals. We have consistently produced winners in every category of direct response and in both traditional formats: the shorter “direct response” commercial and longer “infomercial.”
