I learned film production—the creative aspects and the business disciplines—at my father’s feet. When I was young, I had no idea who Robert Altman was, but I later learned my father Charles Paddock shot some of the legendary director’s early films.
Since my father started our company over 50 years ago, we have enjoyed steady growth in every venue of the production business: corporate pieces and music videos, national television commercials and feature films.
Looking back, I believe the most rewarding part of the business has been the successes we’ve created for our Direct Response clients. It’s our one chance to follow a project from inception to completion, from idea to success. It’s very satisfying to help our clients fulfill their entrepreneurial dreams.
